After anticipating our 30day system for almost a week, we finally got it and opened it all up, examining the products and materials that are supposed to change our lives over the next month.
Philip and I wake up early every morning to spend time with each other before the kids get up and usually drink our -strong- morning coffee. This morning, since our coffeemaker is in chains for the duration of this month, we had to settle for a nice, cold glass of water and an ounce of terribly strong Ionix Supreme, a tonic that is supposed to boost your immune system, flood your body with good stuff and get things off to a good start. A word to the wise: chug it. :)
For breakfast we both had our shakes, with nothing added, and they weren't terrible. Thicker than we expected, but tolerable.
Did 45 mins on the elliptical at the gym. Roughly 3.5 miles.
Philip had a turkey burger on lettuce for lunch, I had a bowl of chicken vegetable soup. We were very much looking forward to lunch.
Afternoon got us both feeling hungry and wanting to munch. We both had 1 or 2 IsaSnacks and later I had an apple.
For dinner we decided to mix strawberries and blueberries into the vanilla shake for Philip and I had 1/2 banana and a tbsp of organic peanut butter in my chocolate shake. It was far better and more filling than this morning. We also ate a piece of whole grain bread alongside to fill our bellies just a little more.
About 8pm, I started having a headache probably from caffeine withdrawal, but was surprised I hadn't had more symptoms of withdrawal throughout the day as I normally drink 2-3 cups of coffee everyday. We both felt a little lackluster throughout the evening, but got through it. I could tell Philip was lacking his usual pep, but didn't make a big deal out of it.
We took our IsaFlush and went to bed. Overall, it was a long day of remembering to do everything, but we got through it and already feel lighter.
